It’s time to Pay Your Pension Some Attention

Pensions UK and the Association of British Insurers (ABI) are bringing back the Pay Your Pension Some Attention campaign for 2025. And they are asking HR and employee benefits professionals to help spread the word and encourage employees to engage with their workplace pension.
There may be more people tracking their steps, calories and sleep to get physically fit, but too few know what's in their pension to make sure they’re financially fit.
That's why this year’s campaign, launching on 5 September, sees the introduction of a three-step workout plan to help people get their pensions into shape.
1. Stretch your mind back to any past employers or pensions.
2. Check your form by logging into your pension accounts to see how much you’ve got.
3. Work out how much you might need for the future.
To make life simple, a free, downloadable campaign toolkit (under embargo until 5 September) has been created to encourage employers to help spread the message, with ready-made content, graphics, and resources designed to get people talking, sharing, and taking action. You can also use the hashtag #PensionAttention to support the campaign on LinkedIn or X @PensionAttn.
REBA will also be supporting the campaign this autumn, including at the Future of Pensions Summit 2025, where Pensions UK will be hosting a pensions quiz, to get people talking about their pension!
Pension Attention is an industry-led engagement campaign powered by Pensions UK and the ABI, funded by some of the most recognisable brands in the pensions industry: Aviva, NatWest Cushon, Fidelity, L&G, M&G, Nest, The People’s Pension, Phoenix Group, Royal London, Scottish Widows and Vanguard.
