Research: Employee Happiness index 2018 1

Key findings

  • More than two thirds of the survey’s top performers say they embrace data, strategy and targeted employee technologies as part of their reward policy.
  • On average, employees who are most satisfied with their benefit offering give themselves an engagement rating of 9.1 (on a scale of 1-10) – up to a fifth more than those who are least satisfied.
  • 76 per cent of HR leaders say they have made changes to their benefit offering in the past 24 months – yet fewer than half have a strategy in place.
  • Employers who strongly commit to communicating the benefit offering enjoy an average satisfaction rate of 7.2. Those who don’t are behind on just 5.7.

Benify surveyed more than 20,000 employees and HR leaders across all industries – to find out exactly what it is that contributes to overall employee happiness. The resulting data sets new benchmarks for today’s employers looking to increase traction, save costs and raise business performance.
