Understanding shifting intergenerational dynamics across the workplace will need new thinking around retirement savings journeys.

With a workforce that spans five generations and an ongoing raft of pensions reviews, the challenge for employers is to move beyond recognition of intergenerational changes, and how they relate to financial issues, to take meaningful action.

This roundtable report, published in partnership with Aviva, captures first-hand expertise to provide a diverse range of practical strategies, actions and insights that employers are implementing.

By improving pensions education, encouraging increased contributions, and offering financial planning tools that help employees visualise their future retirement outcomes, employers are well placed to bridge retirement adequacy gaps.

Capturing the collective expertise of the participants, this report features insight from organisations including Centrica, Hilton, Moodys and AtkinsRéalis, to provide fresh good practice examples.
