John McLaughlin of Aon on building a resilient workforce for the future
Presenting at REBA's Employee Wellbeing Congress, McLaughlin and Witte considered how employers will need to put their people first and ensure they are adaptable and agile in order to deal with an ever changing workplace landscape. In order to build a resilient workforce for the future, organisations will need to develop an empathetic dialogue with their workforce and visible leadership.
"This will be critical, and against the backdrop of this global pandemic, businesses that put their people first are most likely to thrive in the future," said Witte.
He added that a 'tactical wellbeing initiatives' alone are unlikely to be enough to provide consistent results in the future.
