Research: Fairness, flexibility and affordability

As well as analysing the trends in UK pay and rewards over the past 30 years, this IES paper offers guidance on three areas that reward professionals should consider moving forward: low pay, gender pay and total rewards.

Research: The New Imperatives for Financial Security

Around 60 per cent of UK employees are financially stressed – 18 per cent of them seriously so – placing Britain above the global average. This research report from Mercer considers the financial health of employees in 12 countries and challenges employers to consider what their obligation is to help tackle this issue.

Survey: UK labour market: February 2018

Average weekly earnings in nominal terms have increased by 2.5 per cent both including and excluding bonuses compared with a year earlier, according to the latest labour market figures from the ONS.
