Your quick-read round up of the key reports on bonuses and pay released in the past few weeks, from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and the Resolution Foundation.

Government papers: Understanding the gender pay gap in the UK

This ONS analysis builds on raw gender pay gap data, using regressions techniques to provide more insight into the factors that affect men's and women's pay.

Research: Counting the hours

The hours worked by men is having an impact on the ‘hollowing out’ of pay distribution, the latest research from the Resolution Foundation has shown.

Survey: UK labour market: January 2018

The latest labour market figures from the ONS have been released showing average weekly earnings in real terms (adjusted for price inflation) fell by 0.2 per cent including bonuses, and fell by 0.5 per cent excluding bonuses, compared with a year earlier.
