How technology is creating opportunities to reshape reward, wellbeing, benefits and culture

In this video, REBA’s content director Maggie Williams reflects with David Dodd, partner and UK mid-market leader at Mercer Marsh Benefits, on our recent breakfast event, looking at how technology and digital advances are influencing reward, wellbeing, benefits and organisational culture, and the opportunities this transformation is creating.

“Data is definitely influencing how businesses shape their culture for the future, and covers everything from diversity and inclusion, to ESG, right through to leadership in terms of how businesses are run,” explains Dodd.

He adds that, as CHROs look to create more meaningful work and improve employee wellbeing, technology offers a great opportunity to facilitate these aims from benefits design and platforms through to the way that talent is recruited and employees engage.

Dodd attended REBA’s exclusive Transforming engagement: technology change is business change breakfast in association with Mercer Marsh Benefits. The event brought together senior reward professionals from an array of sectors to discuss how technology developments increasingly mean that digital strategy and people strategy have to align.
