White paper: Future Assured
Key findings
- Overall the index scores dropped by 1.1 points compared with last year’s survey, dropping down to 61.2 points. This was largely down to concerns around social and physical wellness. However, the work pillar saw an improvement, while family and financial wellness remained relatively flat.
- One in two employees claim they don’t get support from their employer in dealing with stress or have a formal workplace wellness programme in place.
- One in five believe their workplace wellness programme is inadequate to meet their needs, while millennials reported feeling the most stressed and least able to cope.
- 68 per cent of respondents said that workplace wellness programmes influence their job selection.
The survey findings were tracked over a four-year period. The survey includes responses from nearly 14,500 people from 23 markets around the world.
