If you don’t have time to read the full report, this free download will enable you to read the key findings and actions from REBA’s Benefits Design Research 2025, which considers the role of data within employers’ benefits strategies.

By digging deeper into the data being used by today’s employee benefits professionals, this research explores which metrics are most compelling and highly valued (as well as where the key gaps are) when evidencing programme performance or seeking approval for change or innovation.

With health-related benefits driving most programme changes, having the right data will be key to securing approvals, enhancing wellbeing, and strengthening business performance.

The full report will give you benchmarking data and insights into how employers are strategically using their benefits data today, and what they have planned for the future.

About the research

Using the Reward & Employee Benefits Association’s extensive membership of 4,700 senior reward and benefits practitioners and a database of over 20,700 HR contacts, the research team conducted an online survey in January 2025. This achieved participation from 360 organisations, representing an estimated 1.8 million employees.

This approach ensured a broad and diverse set of data, reflecting a cross-section of employer sizes and industry sectors in the UK. REBA’s robust methodology is aimed at uncovering clear future trends and decision-making patterns among employers. This approach allows REBA to provide reliable insights, helping to guide better decisions in employee reward and benefits practices.
